Metin Tumer had given Larissa the lead in the 41st, while Olympiakos leveled through Mirnes Sisic in the 50th. With two games to go, Olympiakos leads the standings with 64 points, two more than AEK Athens which moved to second place after its 3-1 home win over visiting Ergotelis. Panathinaikos virtually dropped out of the title race with a humiliating 4-1 defeat at OFI. The Athens club has 60 points in 3rd place. Rivaldo, Pandelis Kaffes and Ismael Blanco scored for AEK, while Panagiotis Kordonouris grabbed Ergotelis' consolation goal. Goran Drulic gave OFI the lead and Dimitris Salpingidis leveled for Panathinaikos, before goals from Aleksandar Simic, Stelios Sfakianakis and Zdranko Popovic sealed the win. Larissa missed an early scoring opportunity when Antonis Nikopolidis made a one-handed save on a powerful shot by Metin, off a pass from Maciej Zurawski in the fifth minute. Matias Iglesias was ejected after a second yellow card in the 28th, leaving Larissa with 10 players. Olympiakos then went on the attack, but missed three good chances in four minutes, including two shots that hit the posts. Metin then silenced the crowd when he gave the visitors the lead with a shot from the edge of the box. Sisic leveled with a low shot, before Olympiakos defender Tassos Pantos saw a second yellow card in the 58th. Mitroglou replaced Fernando Belluschi in the 82nd, and then met a low cross by Lorando net the winner.
