AMSTERDAM, Netherlands (AP) -- Ajax joined AZ Alkmaar atop the Dutch league by blanking 10-man NAC Breda 3-0 on Friday.

Ajax and AZ have 32 points each followed by FC Twente with 27. NAC stayed fourth with 26.

AZ can regain sole lead when it meets Feyenoord on Saturday.

Dario Cvitanich raced on to a Luis Suarez pass and beat NAC goalkeeper Jelle ten Rouwelaar with a diagonal shot in the 27th minute for his first goal for Ajax. Suarez converted a penalty in the 55th before Urby Emanuelson set up Rasmus Lindgren in the 64th.

NAC's Kees Kwakman was ejected in the 54th after picking up a second yellow card.

Feyenoord was fined by UEFA on Friday for crowd trouble, and its home match against AZ has been undermined by injuries to key players including Tim de Cler, Jon Dahl Tomasson, Jonathan de Guzman and Serginho Greene. Also, defending champion PSV Eindhoven travels to Vitesse Arnhem.
