Nick Perry (SI/Takkle NR)
DE, 6-4/240
Detroit (Martin Luther King)
The contenders: Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, USC
Update: Perry is scheduled to visit Michigan this weekend. He already has visited Michigan State and USC, and he is scheduled to visit Miami the first weekend in February. Perry helped lead King High to a Division II state title, the first for a Detroit public school since Michigan established its playoff system. Perry came to King prior to his senior year after his previous school was closed because of budget cuts.

Cyrus Gray (SI/Takkle NR)
RB, 6-0/188
DeSoto, Texas (DeSoto)
The favorite: Texas A&M
The sleeper: Florida
Update: DeSoto coach Dave Meadows said Gray has made his decision, but he is waiting to announce it. Gray visited Florida and Texas A&M on consecutive weekends, and he made up his mind shortly after returning from College Station. Gray's teammate, cornerback Adrian Bushell, already has committed to Florida.

T.J. Bryant (SI/Takkle No. 36)
CB, 6-1/175
Tallahassee, Fla. (Lincoln)
The favorite: Florida State
The contenders: Alabama, Florida, LSU, Miami, USC
Update: Lincoln coach Kyle Rice said Bryant would visit USC this weekend. He already has visited Florida and Miami, Rice said. Rice said Bryant has been quiet about his recruitment, and Rice did not know when Bryant planned to make a final decision.

William Green (SI/Takkle NR)
LB, 6-4/215
Hoover, Ala. (Spain Park High)
The favorite: Florida
The sleepers: Alabama, Auburn
Update: Green raved to Rivals.com about his visit to Florida last weekend, but he stopped just short of saying he had committed. Green was scheduled to visit Clemson this weekend, but he told Rivals on Wednesday that he canceled that trip. Green told the site he would announce a decision in a week or two.

Tommy Streeter (SI/Takkle NR)
WR, 6-6/200
Miami (Northwestern High)
The contenders: Boston College, Miami, Oregon, South Carolina, South Florida
Update: A broken arm forced Streeter to switch up his visit schedule. He rescheduled his visit to South Florida for this weekend, which may have squeezed out his visit to Miami. Streeter told Rivals.com that he is not close to making a decision, telling the site he may have "eight hats" in front of him on signing day.

E.J. Abrams-Ward (SI/Takkle No. 72)
QB/LB, 6-5/210
Thomasville, N.C. (Thomasville High)
The contenders: North Carolina, Tennessee
Update: Abrams-Ward has visited both of his finalists, but he has yet to make a decision. It's no coincidence that Abrams-Ward is down to two schools that also have excellent basketball teams; he may try to play both sports. The football-basketball combo, however, is "not a dealbreaker," Thomasville coach Allen Brown said.

Charles Mitchell (SI/Takkle No. 78)
DB, 5-11/190
Clarksdale, Miss. (Clarksdale High)
The contenders: Michigan, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Southern Miss
Update: Mitchell went to Mississippi State last weekend and Nebraska earlier this month, and he still plans to check out Southern Miss and Michigan. Mitchell told Rivals.com this week that he doesn't need to take an official visit to Ole Miss because he has been to the campus on several occasions.

Nathan Stanley (SI/Takkle No. 89)
QB, 6-4/190
Tahlequah, Okla. (Sequoyah High)
The contenders: Florida Atlantic, Maryland, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss
Update: Stanley will visit Ole Miss this weekend, and he already has visited Maryland and Florida Atlantic. Stanley was recruited by Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt's staff while Nutt was at Arkansas.

Antoine McClain (SI/Takkle No. 93)
OT, 6-6/317
Anniston, Ala. (Anniston)
The contenders: Auburn, Clemson, LSU, Tennessee
Update: McClain visited Tennessee last week and met with a pair of Clemson assistants during the week. He is scheduled to go to Auburn this weekend and LSU next weekend. McClain plans to announce his choice on Signing Day.

Matt Brown (SI/Takkle No. 97)
DB, 5-7/170
Highstown, N.J. (The Peddie School)
The contenders: None
Update: Peddie School coach Geoff Harlan said that in spite of a standout performance in the Offense-Defense All-American game that earned Brown a Top 100 ranking, the speedy corner still has yet to get a scholarship offer.
