Question:

Sixty-some questions for all 30 teams this offseason, in order of their divisional finish in the 2008 season:

AMERICAN LEAGUE EAST

Tampa Bay Rays

Can the American League champs find a power bat for right field in a trade? Are they content with Troy Percival at the back end of a very fluid bullpen?

Boston Red Sox

In a catcher-challenged free-agent class, can they afford to let Jason Varitek walk? Will they play it smart, as they did last offseason, and just hold onto Coco Crisp?

New York Yankees

With Jason Giambi probably getting bought out -- that $23 million option is just too much -- do the Yanks go for Mark Teixeira? How much to bring Andy Pettitte back?

Toronto Blue Jays

Can they finally find happiness by finding a DH? Will they really be able to talk A.J. Burnett into returning to the rotation? Is Marco Scutaro the best option at shortstop?

Baltimore Orioles

Will they quit playing around and just lock in Brian Roberts and Nick Markakis already? Does anyone -- anyone good, that is -- want to play shortstop for the O's?

AMERICAN LEAGUE CENTRAL

Chicago White Sox

With a retooled infield (Alexei Ramirez moves to short), will GM Ken Williams be happy with Jayson Nix or Chris Getz at second? Are the Sox OK with Jerry Owens in center?

Minnesota Twins

Do they re-sign Nick Punto or go looking for someone better to play shortstop? Or both? Can they finally find a power bat, too, most likely at DH?

Cleveland Indians

With Jhonny Peralta probably heading to third, what about the rest of the infield? How much are the closer-needy Indians willing to fork over for a good free agent?

Kansas City Royals

Are the Royals done shopping for a slugger, now that they've traded for Mike Jacobs? Can they find a decent second baseman to pair with shortstop Mike Aviles?

Detroit Tigers

With Brandon Inge back at third, who are the Tigers going to go with at catcher? And now that they've bought out Edgar Renteria, where are they going to find a shortstop?

AMERICAN LEGUE WEST

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim

They won't be able to afford both Mark Teixeira and Francisco Rodriguez so ... which one? And who will be their left fielder, now that they've cut ties with Garret Anderson?

Texas Rangers

What to do with Hank Blalock; let him go, or re-sign him and move him off third? And can somebody please find some pitching for this organization?

Oakland Athletics

Are there any young, cheap, undiscovered infielders with a little bit of pop out there? Would the A's trade one-time closer Huston Street for some offensive help?

Seattle Mariners

With catchers so hard to come by, are the Mariners stuck with Kenji Johjima? Can they possibly re-sign a guy they need to re-sign, steady left fielder Raul Ibanez?
