This week's best showdown is in Southern California as Centennial (Corona, Calif.) pays a visit to Mater Dei. If this rendition is anything like last year's game, which was highlighted with 1,302 total yards between the teams, USC-bound quarterback Matt Barkley (Mater Dei) will put up even more impressive stats than usual.

High School Football Power Rankings
1
Last Week: 1
Trinity (Euless, Texas) (2-0)
The Trojans spread the wealth in their 37-14 win over Cedar Hill (Texas) as their 441 yards of total offense were divided among eight rushers and five receivers.

De La Salle (Concord, Calif.) (1-0)
After sprinting to a 21-0 lead, the Spartans watched Junipero Serra (Calif.) charge back with 28 unanswered points.
