I reluctantly confess that last week's first bracket of the season was a little ... off. I'm blaming it on rustiness. I made a few errors in judgment, which I came to regret, primarily failing to give Tennessee a No. 1 seed and giving Arizona far too high a seed.
Never fear, however -- all has been corrected, and a flurry of upsets last week caused upheaval throughout the bracket.
Below is a mock NCAA tournament bracket based on results through February 17. For purposes of this bracket, the current first-place team in each conference was awarded the automatic berth.
NOTE: NO ATTEMPT WAS MADE TO PREDICT FUTURE RESULTS.
