NCAA Basketball Power Rankings
Rank LW School
6 6
LSU Tigers (25-4)
With 20 points and 12 rebounds against Mississippi State on Sunday, LSU senior Sylvia Fowles closed out the regular season in style, setting the career SEC double-double record at 79. She also moved to the top of LSU's career rebounding list with 1,474.

Stanford Cardinal (27-3)
With 1:25 remaining in the first half of her final regular-season game, Candice Wiggins passed Lisa Leslie's all-time Pac-10 scoring record and set the new mark with 2,424 points. It was a good game for Stanford too, as the Cardinal clinched the Pac-10 title with their win over Washington State. Now the All-America senior's journey to lead Stanford to a national title starts in the first round of the conference tournament: The top-seeded Cardinal face the winner of Oregon State-Arizona on Saturday.

Next three: Pac-10 tournament
8 8
Baylor Bears (23-3)
Baylor is a team that hasn't received much attention this season, but folks should start taking notice. They're in the hunt for the Big 12 championship, and have a good chance at a No. 2 seed in the NCAA tournament. Guard Angela Tisdale has put up some big numbers, scoring 55 points in the last two games, but this is a team with four starters averaging double digits.

Next: 3/6 vs. Oklahoma State; Big 12 tournament
9 9
California Golden Bears (24-4)
The Bears have a talented starting five, including Ashley Walker, Devanei Hampton and Alexis Gray-Lawson, but they need those players on the floor. Sunday's loss to Washington was a good reminder of that. It shouldn't be a huge worry for the Bears come tourney time: Walker has fouled out just twice this season, while Hampton and Gray-Lawson have never fouled out.

Next: Pac-10 tournament
10 15
Utah Utes (21-7)
The Mountain West champions have won 20 straight with a lineup that includes three excellent three-point shooters. Morgan Warburton, Leilani Mitchell and Kalee Whipple are hitting a combined 44 percent from beyond the arc, which also has helped them lead Utah scoring. They account for 48.8 of the team's 69.4 points.
