The Braves acquired center fielder Nate McLouth from the Pirates for two pitching prospects and an outfield prospect, SI.com has confirmed.

According to sources, the Braves are sending pitching prospects Charlie Morton and Jeff Locke to Pittsburgh, plus outfielder Gorkys Hernandez. The Pirates already have big-time outfield prospects Andrew McCutchen and Jose Tabata. McCutchen is ready for the big leagues.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette first mentioned McLouth had been traded to Atlanta.
