Royals' Greinke ejected from game

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Kansas City Royals ace Zack Greinke has been ejected for yelling something from the bench against the Boston Red Sox.

Greinke, who doesn't pitch again until Sunday, was ejected by home plate umpire Greg Gibson with one out in the third inning Thursday night. Greinke apparently said something after a 1-2 pitch by Royals starter Anthony Lerew was called a ball and Gibson quickly tossed him.

Royals manager Trey Hillman came onto the field to speak with Gibson, then returned to the dugout after a few seconds.
