![]() ![]() ![]() OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The Oklahoma City Thunder has signed veteran guard Mike Wilks after a spate of injuries to the team's other guards. Oklahoma City General Manager Sam Presti announced Wilks' signing on Thursday. The Thunder's two backup point guards, Shaun Livingston and Kevin Ollie, are sidelined by knee injuries, and another guard, Kyle Weaver, suffered a shoulder injury Wednesday during a practice. Wilks has played for eight different NBA teams in six seasons but hasn't appeared in a regular-season game since the 2007-08 season, when he played in three games for the Seattle SuperSonics, who later moved to Oklahoma City and became the Thunder. He has career averages of 2.5 points and 1.2 assist per game. Copyright 2009 Associated Press. All rights reserved.
