GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) -- Defending national champion North Carolina and Duke are co-favorites to win the Atlantic Coast Conference this season. The Tar Heels and Blue Devils shared first place in voting at Sunday's ACC Operation Basketball, the first tie in the four-decade history of the preseason event. Duke earned 25 of 48 first-place votes from media members and finished with 545 points, while North Carolina earned 20 first-place votes and also finished with 545 points. Clemson was picked third, followed by Georgia Tech, Maryland, Wake Forest, Florida State, Virginia Tech, Boston College, Miami, Virginia and North Carolina State.
