LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) -- Kentucky coach John Calipari says he can't figure out if his team is really good on offense or just really bad on defense. He hopes to get an answer on Monday night when the Wildcats host Campbellsville in an exhibition at Rupp Arena.

Calipari said the team isn't anywhere near where it needs to be on defense, citing a lack of maturity and discipline. While he believes the Wildcats can get by for now playing about 17 minutes of defense a night, he said they must become "vicious" on the defensive end if they want to contend for a national title.

Kentucky will play without freshman point guard John Wall, who was ordered to sit out two games after accepting improper benefits from his former AAU coach, who was also a licensed agent for a period during Wall's high school career.
