OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Courtney Paris scored a season-high 27 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and blocked six shots to lead No. 3 Oklahoma to a 76-59 victory over Kansas in the Big 12 tournament quarterfinals on Friday.

Paris' big game came after she guaranteed that the Sooners would win the national championship. She dominated the Jayhawks (18-13) inside and caused havoc on the defensive end, too.

The All-America center had 10 points during a 15-4 run early in the second half as Oklahoma (28-3) broke open a close game after the Jayhawks had pulled within two. The Sooners then continued to pull away, building a 23-point lead that gave Paris the rest of the game off after she went to the bench with 11:41 to play.

Danielle McCray scored 22 points to lead Kansas, which can only hope its five wins in the last seven games will bring an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament.
