Hot Clicks

Super Sexy
Tanya Ballinger, Kitana Baker

You probably don't know the two lovely ladies above by name, but they might look vaguely familiar to you. On the left is Tanya Ballinger and on the right is Kitana Baker. They caused a stir in 2002 when they had a catfight in a Miller Lite ad. Where is all this leading? It's leading to the 10 Sexiest Super Bowl Commercials of All Time and the 43 Greatest Beer Commercials. Apparently, PETA put together a sexy ad to air during Sunday's big game, but the spot has been nixed by NBC. (Thanks to Joe, of Chicago, for the link.)

Torre's Story

A few of you have e-mailed to ask my thoughts on this Joe Torre book. Why, I don't know. But I'll bite. One, I don't think it's odd that Torre would write a book, I just think it's odd he'd do it while he's still managing. Two, as a Yankees fan, I have no problem with him trashing anyone. The organization treated him like a piece of dog crap. When you win four World Series, you should be given more than a one-year offer. When you reach a certain level of success, people should just leave you alone. I'm not surprised that he might still be bitter. However, all that stuff you read over the weekend about A-Fraud and Single White Female is nothing compared to this funny, yet disturbing Bernie Williams story in the book. (If you want more details from the book, just scan Neil Best's entire blog.)

Two More Baseball Items

You need to see these two tattoos. And if you grew up in the '80s, you'll want to check out this look at baseball toys from that era.

E-Mail(s) Of The Day
Olivia Munn

I often get requests to feature G4 TV host Oliva Munn in Hot Clicks. But when the military asks, I have to listen. Joseph Jones, of Everywhere, says "Love your column and can't get enough of it (and I appreciate everything you provide the military, just sayin'). Anyway, can't you do a Olivia Munn tribute sometime? If you haven't seen her, you will like her in the Princess Leia outfit." Meanwhile, Kane, of Knox City, Mo., says "Dear Jimmy, this is my first e-mail to you and Hot Clicks. This e-mail is of urgent importance and requires all the readers of Hot Clicks. OLIVIA MUNN, has a petition to congress to make the last full week of January 'National Pie Week.' The incentive for the readers is if she gets 10,000 signatures she will dive into a gigantic pie. In one day, they had just under 10,000, so she sweetened the deal. If she gets 25,000 signatures she will dress in a french maid outfit, and for 50,000 it will be a very SEXY FRENCH MAID OUTFIT. Here is the link to the petition Web site and another link of her explaining the deal. The deadline for the signatures is this Friday. Thanks." Speaking of petitions, Joseph Thoma, of Tinley Park, Ill., says "Check out this link from Guinness. It's a petition that can be signed electronically in favor of making St. Patrick's Day an official Holiday! SLAINTE!"

Tyler Talk

Food Court Lunch examines the Hansbrough Effect, and offers a list of the top 12 "Hansbrough Effect" players of all time. Hmm, what do they have in common? Speaking of Hansbrough, Storming the Floor unveils its Starting Five of College Hoops Hate.

I Hate The Snuggie

Thank god for you readers. You're the only ones who give me credit for being the first on the Snuggie bandwagon. Albert Del Tufo, of Vero Beach, Fla, says "The Snuggie made MSNBC.com. You had it first." Scott, of Ada, Mich., says "Jimmy, I think it's 'bout time you get paid for at least a quarter of the sales made on this thing. Unreal." And even Erin Andrews -- yes, that Erin Andrews who cracked this list of Chickipedia's Top 100 Most Wanted Women for 2008 -- e-mailed me this morning to let me know USA Today has an article on the damn blanket. Once again, just for the record, I brought the Snuggie to everyone's attention IN OCTOBER! The only thing that cheers me up about this whole thing are videos like this one. (Warning: Link contains strong language.)

Speaking Of Erin Andrews

The other day, I mentioned EA being one of the five finalists for Playboy.com's Sexiest Sportscaster contest. Well, The Backup Goalie has some legitimate issues with the contest.

Sports Video Of The Day

When a group of kids turn an '80s classic into a sports song, it's a lock for Hot Clicks. (Thanks to Bob Hackworth, of Sandy Utah, and Mark Latini, of Kent, Ohio, and Brian, of Pittsburgh, for sending the link.)

Cheap Shot Of The Day

Joe Setchell, of Ann Arbor, Mich., says "You should link the hit on Michigan defenseman Steve Kampfer during Saturday's UM vs. MSU hockey game at Yost Ice Arena in Ann Arbor. Kampfer absolutely crushes an MSU player in a clean open ice hit, then gets sucker punched from behind, tackled, and slashed in the neck and face by two of MSU's players. He was released from the hospital Monday, but it should have never happened in the first place, seeing how it took place in the last minute of Michigan's 5-3 win. Bull---- Jimmy, it's bull----."

Wacky Hoops Game Video Of The Day

The highlights from this recent Middleton vs. Madison West high school game (recap here) are more exciting than anything I've seen in the NBA for about 10 years. (Thanks to Nick Murphy, of Mesa, Ariz., and Aaron, of Madison, Wisc., for the link.)
