One Day Away
Make sure you check SI.com at midnight for the launch of our Swimsuit '09 section. Here's a preview to whet your appetite. The issue will be on newsstands tomorrow, as well. And the cover will be revealed on tonight's Late Show with David Letterman. Apparently, Leonardo DiCaprio is interested to see who's on the cover. The New York Post reports that Leo wants Bar Refaeli on the cover so his ex, Gisele Bundchen, will get jealous. Wouldn't you think just dating Bar Refaeli would make a man happy enough? The Super Bowl has inspired Pyle of List to recall The Worst of the Worst Calls in big games. Let's Get This Out Of The Way
This may surprise you, but the New York tabloids are kinda into this Alex Rodriguez story. Luckily, I only received a couple of e-mails about A-Rod over the weekend (one of which asked me if I was going to interview Derek Jeter about the latest scandal, which I found amusing), so since I try to adhere to a "No Steroids" policy in Hot Clicks, I'll just say this and move on: Alex Rodriguez is a cancer and the Yankees will never win a World Series as long as he's on the team. That's my opinion. Having said that, I couldn't care less about him -- or any other player -- failing a steroids test. None of the steroids stories surprise me, disappoint me or interest me. I want to watch and enjoy baseball. I don't want to play Sherlock Holmes to figure out who is/was clean or dirty. Tops Of The Throwbacks
The Legend of Cecilio Guante is looking at 10 team logos that need to make a comeback. Double Dribble Alert!
Hot Clicks has often posted links to pieces that honor the best video game athletes. Well, Joe Sports Fan goes in a different direction and reveals the Most Underrated Video Game Athletes. As a bonus, the list even mentions the best video game ever, (and one that my best friend Brett refused to play against me because I was so good) Double Dribble. Flying High
Philadelphia Flyers forward Scottie Upshall is reportedly dating NBA TV's Melanie Collins, who might be the No. 1 hockey WAG of all time. Friday Night Lights Talk
Mark Rodriguez, of Cleveland, Texas says "Thanks a lot, Jimmy. I watched Friday Night Lights for the first time ever this Friday, but much to my dismay, THERE WAS NO MINKA KELLY!!! What kind of show keeps one of its biggest stars out of an episode? If anyone deserves to win a prize, it's me. (All that aside, it was a pretty interesting episode.)" Jeff, of Youngstown, Ohio, says "Jimmy. I'm a little upset with the fact that NBC made me watch 10 times more of Saracin's Grandma than of Minka Kelly last night. Since we were all robbed of our weekly dose of Minka Kelly on FNL last night, I think it's only right that we lead Monday off with her picture as the lead girl." Listen, I can understand you being upset about no Minka, but DO NOT diss Saracen's grandma. That's unacceptable. She's one of the best characters on the show. Lastly, Jared Kraus, of St. Louis says "I gave up on Friday Night Lights during the first season because I didn't have much time to watch it and I never really got in to it. But there I am sick on a Friday night with nothing on TV and decided to put it on NBC and see what all the fuss was about. Well, you've finally got me Jimmy, and have officially persuaded another person to start watching it again. Last night's episode was one of the best I've seen on TV in a while and if you didn't get a little emotional at the end with Smash and Coach then YOU HAVE NO SOUL!!! Thanks again Jimmy, I owe you big time." Since I've seen all of Season 3, I'll just say this: If you cried during Smash's last episode, you'll be bawling at a few others that are coming down the road. More Links On Facebook

This has been on YouTube since late November, but I just saw it for the first time this morning, when Christian Forbes, of London, sent it in. It just might be the best celebration ever, definitely top five. Jessica Simpson Video Of The Day
Jeff, of Philadelphia, Pa., e-mailed to say "I read a story about how Jessica Simpson messed up the lyrics and fought back tears at a concert in Grand Rapids the other night. I went looking for video (which I did not find), but came across this which is pretty funny. It's a compilation of her mistakes but the real gem comes at the 1:25 mark when, if you listen closely, you can hear a series of remarks from one of the concert goers in the crowd. Pretty funny stuff. Enjoy." '80s Video Of The Day
Marc, of Freddy Beach, Canada, says "Here is the supreme creepy '80s vid." Have A Link, Comment or Question For Us?
