Florida State, South Florida agree to home-and-home

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) -- Florida State and the University of South Florida will meet in football for the first time in September.

The Bulls of the Big East Conference will visit the Seminoles of the Atlantic Coast Conference on Sept. 26, with a second game set for Sept. 29, 2012 at USF, which plays its home games in the same stadium as the NFL's Tampa Bay Bucs.

Both schools are coming off winning seasons. Florida State finished 9-4 after beating Wisconsin in the Champs Sports Bowl and USF went 8-5 after defeating Memphis in the St. Petersburg Bowl.
