Police question DB Vinson as witness to shooting |
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Knoxville police have questioned Tennessee defensive back Brent Vinson as a witness in a shooting. Charles Corn was taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center after being shot at a Knoxville townhouse complex late Tuesday night. He was listed in critical condition Wednesday afternoon. Police interviewed Vinson as a witness because he was present when the shooting happened. Vinson is not considered a suspect. Vinson, a junior from Hampton, Va., had 13 tackles last season and an interception against Vanderbilt that he returned 69 yards. Copyright 2009 Associated Press. All rights reserved.
