BOSTON (AP) -- Boston College quarterback Dominique Davis is transferring after his academic suspension. The school said Tuesday he has not decided where he will go. The Eagles are coming off a 9-5 season and Davis was projected to start this fall. He started the last three games as a redshirt freshman following an injury to senior Chris Crane. In six games, Davis completed 63 of 138 passes for 741 yards. He threw for six touchdowns and four interceptions. Davis led a 70-yard drive in the final minutes of a 24-21 comeback win over Wake Forest. He completed passes of 36 and 21 yards before scoring on a 1-yard run with 1:12 left.
