Marshall RB joins Maxwell watch

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) -- Marshall running back Darius Marshall has been added to the watch list for the Maxwell Award.

The Maxwell Football Club of Philadelphia added Marshall and 11 other names to the list Thursday for the award, given to the nation's most outstanding player. Florida's Tim Tebow won the award last season.

Marshall leads the nation in rushing with nearly 160 yards per game. He has rushed for seven touchdowns in four games.
