Illinois wide receiver Arrelious Benn will forgo his senior season and enter the NFL Draft, a source close to the program has told SI.com.

Benn is expected to announce his decision in a Wednesday afternoon press conference.

Benn earned Big Ten Freshman of the Year honors in 2007, but posted his least productive season with the Illini in 2009, registering just 38 receptions for 490 yards and two touchdowns. He finishes his career with 159 catches for 2,221 yards and seven scores and is projected by NFLDraftScouts.com as a first-round pick.
