Dolphins sign ex-Raider Grove |
MIAMI (AP) -- Center Jake Grove has signed a multiyear contract with the Miami Dolphins, which could mean a shake-up in their line. Grove, who signed Tuesday, became an unrestricted free agent after spending his first five seasons with the Oakland Raiders. He's expected to challenge for a starting job with the Dolphins, who might move center Samson Satele to guard. Satele has been Miami's starting center since the beginning of his rookie season in 2007. Grove started 46 games at center and guard for Oakland, and he started 12 games at center last year. He was drafted in the second round in 2004. Copyright 2009 Associated Press. All rights reserved. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten, or redistributed. ![]() | ![]()
