SHATTUCK, Okla. (AP) -- Quarterback Connor Babcock rushed for 162 yards and three touchdowns as Shattuck set a national 8-man high school football record with its 91st straight win, beating Goodwell 40-14 on Friday.

Brent Starbuck added 98 yards rushing and three touchdowns for Class C No. 1 Shattuck (9-0), which broke the 8-man national record set by longtime Oklahoma power Morrison, which won 90 straight games from 1989 to 1995 and once held the overall national record for consecutive wins.

Shattuck's last loss came in the 2002 Class C semifinals, when the Indians fell to Pond Creek-Hunter.

Shattuck's winning streak is No. 3 on the overall national list, behind De La Salle of Concord, Calif., which won 151 in a row from 1992 through 2003, and Independence of Charlotte, N.C., which won 109 straight games from 2000 to 2007.
