GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) -- The Phoenix Coyotes sent goalie Josh Tordjman back to the minor leagues on Thursday, just a day after calling him up from the San Antonio Rampage.

Joining Tordjman on the trip to Texas will be forward Daniel Winnik, who had one assist in 23 games for the Coyotes this season.

A 23-year-old Montreal native, Tordjman had three shutouts, a 2.70 goals-against average and a .903 save percentage in 24 games with San Antonio this season. He was recalled to the Coyotes under emergency conditions on Wednesday.

Winnik had 11 goals and 15 assists and registered 25 penalty minutes in 79 games as a rookie for the Coyotes last season.
