Murray out for a month with shoulder injury

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- The Columbus Blue Jackets have placed center Andrew Murray on injured reserve with a shoulder injury.

General Manager Scott Howson announced the move, retroactive to Oct. 20, on Tuesday. Murray is expected to miss at least four weeks.

Murray has one assist in six games this season. Last season, he had eight goals and three assists in 67 games, ranking third on the club with three game-winning goals. The Blue Jackets' 11th pick in the 2001 draft, he set career highs in goals, points and games played.
