LAUREL, Md. (AP) -- Sumachahot rallied late to win the $200,000 Maryland Million Classic at the Jim McKay Maryland Million on Saturday.

The son of Mojave Moon has won six out of 10 races this year and was victorious in the Classic with a time of 1:50.26, ahead of the defending champion, Cuba. Regal Solo was third.

Broadway Producer finished fourth and missed a chance at becoming just the second horse in Maryland Million history to win the Classic and Turf in back-to-back years.

The event, founded in 1986, was officially named the Jim McKay Maryland Million earlier this year after a vote by the Maryland General Assembly. McKay, a Hall of Fame broadcaster, helped develop the race, which is restricted to the offspring of Maryland-based stallions. McKay was chairman of the board until his death on June 7, 2008.

In the $125,000 races, Talkin About Love rallied late to win the Ladies with a time of 1:47.85. Beau's Trip finished second for the second time in three years. Heavenly Moon was third.

All Giving, the favorite, got her sixth win in 16 races at Laurel in the Distaff with a time of 1:23.34. Saxet Heights rallied for second-place and Broad Bess finished third.

Roaring Lion, the favorite, easily won the Sprint with a time of 1:08.64, just missing the track record of 1:07.95. Celtic Innis took second, 3-1/2 lengths behind. Saay Mi Name was third.

Target Sighted, in only his fourth lifetime start, won the Turf in 1:49.3. Moon Ala Mode edged Into the Wind for second in a photo finish.

In the $100,000 races, Natural Seven set a track record in the Turf Sprint with a time of 1:01.59. Heros Reward, the heavy favorite, got stuck behind several horses and finished third, a neck behind Citifest.

Love that Dance, at 5-1, won the Oaks over 3-5 favorite Blind Date with a time of 1:36.40. Love's Blush finished third.

Toboggan Slide won the Nursery, 4 1/2 lengths ahead of Petecarol. Cactus Charlie was third.

In the Lassie, Lil Kiara pulled ahead late and beat Ben's Boots by a neck, giving Carlos Marquez Jr. his third win on the day with a time of 1:11.82. Jim's Prospect was third.
