| Broncos coach even dressing like Belichick |
The Patriot Way is alive and well in the Rockies. From the influx of former New England players, to the coachspeak press conferences and bizarrely vague injury reports and now to the coach's wardrobe, Josh McDaniels is becoming more and more Belichickian with each passing week. McDaniels wore a grey hooded sweatshirt on the sideline of Saturday's game against Seattle -- the favorite gameday attire of his former boss, Bill Belichick.

| Should Yanks split Posada and Burnett? |
|

Despite communication problems between A.J. Burnett and Jorge Posada during the three most recent games they worked, Joe Girardi doesn't plan to split them on purpose. During the last three games Posada has worked with Burnett, there have been cross-ups, Burnett stopping his delivery and balking a run home and the pitcher not being convinced he was throwing the right pitch.

| Holtz sees ND-Florida in BCS title game |
With the college football season less than two weeks away, ESPN analyst and former Notre Dame coach Lou Holtz already has begun making predictions. Apparently, Charlie Weis' hot seat will cool considerably after this season. If Holtz is correct (unlikely), the Fighting Irish will face Florida in the Bowl Championship Series title game.
