SaturdayMock Trial Tournament, Wake Forest University, 10 a.m.: Twenty-eight of the country's top teams are ready to show their love of litigation. Spectators beware; the last time this many pre-law students were in the same room a riot ensued when somebody yelled out "I did better than you on my LSATs." Men's Basketball: Maryland at No. 2 Duke, 12 p.m.: A win likely bumps the red hot Blue Devils to a well-deserved spot on top of the polls. Coach K likes this team so much he's quietly holding out hope they can make it past the Sweet 16 Men's Basketball: New Jersey Institute of Technology at Longwood, 2 p.m.: The 51 game losing streak is over. Is a two game winning streak in N.J.I.T.'s future? Men's Basketball: No. 24 Memphis at Tennessee, 3:30 p.m.: The pizzazz of last year's No. 1 vs. No. 2 showdown will be missing, but both coaches still plan on swearing up a storm. Men's Basketball: No. 23 Baylor at No. 5 Oklahoma, 4 p.m.: It's a big-time Big 12 battle loaded with storylines and implications. Too bad it's on ESPNU and nobody can watch it. Senior Bowl, Mobile, Alabama, ESPN, 7 p.m.: Forget the NFL scouting. This weekend is all about seniors sharing study tips for upcoming midterms. Men's Basketball: No. 3 Connecticut at No. 19 Notre Dame, 7 p.m.: The Fighting Irish have won 45 straight games at the Edmund P. Joyce Center. Perhaps the football team should begin playing there. It might improve their current home win streak of zero. SundayLecture of the Week: "Celebrating Caffeine," Cornell University, 11:30 a.m.: A neuroscientist and a competitive barista will be on hand to discuss why coffee affects us, what makes a good brew, and how society would fall apart if we didn't have caffeine. NCAA Men's Basketball: No. 20 Minnesota at Indiana, 12 p.m.: The Hoosiers have lost eight in a row. Even worse, if the NBA season ended today Kelvin Sampson's Bucks would be in the playoffs.
