Inter Milan striker Adriano could be heading to English Premier League side Manchester City in a sensational swap deal involving Brazilian striker Jo, according to a report out of Italy.

The Nerazzurri misfit has been struggling to keep himself in Jose Mourinho's good books this season, and he was fined $204,000 for arriving late from his holidays.

Such erratic behavior has seen him lose his credentials and he is now facing the chop. Il Corriere Dello Sport claims Adriano could be swapped for Jo.

The Citizens striker left a huge impression last year when he scored against Inter in the Champions League for CSKA Moscow.

Reports suggest Inter president Massimo Moratti is keen on the hitman and a swap with the English side could be on the cards.

The only problem is whether City would agree. It is believed the club paid around $26 million for Jo last summer, in his condition now Adriano, is worth around $16 million.

It's unlikely City would be keen on losing out in the deal which would be a straight swap with no cash involved.

Adriano's future, like some of Il Corriere Dello Sport's transfer predictions, is looking increasingly uncertain.
