LISBON, Portugal (AP) -- Liedson capped Sporting's 2-1 comeback victory over Guimaraes on Saturday with a late goal that keeps the pressure on Portuguese leader FC Porto.

Derlei Fernandes set up Liedson in the 89th minute and the Sporting striker beat goalkeeper Nilson Correia for his 12th goal of the season.

Roberto Calmon had fired the hosts ahead in the 56th before Derlei headed home an equalizer in the 81st.

Sporting, which has dropped just two points in its past eight games, moved to within a point of Porto, which has 54 points.

Porto, which is going for its fourth straight league title, will look to rebound from a midweek Champions League exit to Manchester United with a victory against mid-table Academica, which is coming off a victory at Benfica.

Benfica, which visits struggling Setubal on Sunday, is third with 46 points.

Nene's second-half goal allowed Nacional to draw 1-1 against Braga, which opened in the 35th through Luis Aguiar.

Nacional, which finished with 10 men after Alonso Ferreira de Matos was sent off in the 70th, stayed fourth with 43 points - one better than Braga.

Also on Sunday, last-place Rio Ave plays fellow bottom dweller Trofense and Maritimo faces Belenenses.

On Monday, Naval plays Leixoes.

On Friday, Pacos Ferreira beat Amadora 2-0.
