MLS suspends Real Salt Lake's Morales for game

SANDY, Utah (AP) -- Major League Soccer has suspended Real Salt Lake midfielder Javier Morales for one game for elbowing a Colorado player during a game last weekend.

Morales will sit out Salt Lake's home game against the Los Angeles Galaxy on Wednesday night.

MLS reviewed video from Salt Lake's 2-0 loss Saturday at Colorado, when Morales elbowed Pablo Mastroeni in the face during the 80th minute. Morales was not called for a foul on the play.

Salt Lake defender Jamison Olave will also not play Wednesday as he serves a one-game suspension for getting ejected on Saturday.
