LONDON (AP) -- The Football Association will investigate the crowd trouble at Saturday's League One promotion playoff match between Millwall and Leeds, after fans invaded the field and threw objects at players and one supporter was arrested for assaulting Leeds goalkeeper Casper Ankergren.

There was heavy security at the New Den for Millwall's 1-0 victory, and police on horseback went onto the field after fans raced onto the field to celebrate Neil Harris' 71st-minute winner.

The two sides meet in the second leg at Leeds' Elland Road on Wednesday.

Ankergren told the BBC on Sunday that security at the game was not good enough and Millwall should be punished for its fans' misbehavior.

"There was something thrown at me. I didn't see what it was as I turned my back on it," he said. "It's very bad for football and Millwall should be punished.

"I was pushed in the back by one of the fans that came on the pitch too. It should never happen, fans should not be allowed on to the pitch. I'm not sure what the security were doing as no one came to remove them. They are meant to be here to protect the players, it's not good enough."
