STOCKHOLM (AP) -- Anders Svensson scored with a header as Elfsborg drew 1-1 at Gais on Sunday to extend its unbeaten streak to eight games in the Swedish league.

Svensson put his side ahead in the 37th minute, beating goalkeeper Dime Jankulovski on his left post.

Mattias Lindstrom salvaged a point for Gais in the 76th minute after being set up by Wanderson.

Elfsborg, the only unbeaten team in the league, leads the standings with 16 points, one point ahead of IFK Goteborg, Helsingborg and AIK.

Wilton Figueiredo scored off a rebound to give Malmo FF a 2-1 win over Djurgarden. It was the Brazilian's first goal in four games.

Also, Halmstad edged last-place Orgryte 2-1.

On Thursday, Goteborg beat Gefle 3-0.

The last three games of the eighth round are scheduled for Monday.
