U.S.' Pearce joins Turkish club Bursaspor

He's been out of contract for quite a while now, but U.S. national-team defender Heath Pearce finally has a team:

Bursaspor of the Turkcell Super Lig.

Formerly of German club Hansa Rostock, Pearce leaves the club after two seasons. Prior to that he played two years in FC Nordsjælland, fellow American Michael Parkhurst's current team.

Earlier reports had suggested that FC Dallas was making a push for Pearce, who has never played in Major League Soccer.

Pearce, 25, is a native of Modesto, Calif., and has been capped by the U.S. on 28 different occasions. --Goal.com
