
Chivas names Raul Arias new coach |
MEXICO CITY (AP) -- Raul Arias has been appointed coach of Chivas Guadalajara following the resignation of Francisco Ramirez. Arias takes over a team that is 15th in the Mexican standings, a club regarded as one of the most important in the country along with America of Mexico City. Chivas, which plays Saturday against Jaguares, has only one victory and two draws in eight games in Mexico's Apertura tournament. Arias' appointment was announced Wednesday.
