COPENHAGEN (AP) -- Soren Rieks scored two second half goals as Esbjerg beat Brondby 4-2 on Sunday to close within one point of Danish league leader Odense.

Though the match was balanced at 2-2 at halftime, Rieks put Esbjerg in front just after the hour mark and then sealed the points in the closing seconds with a goal on the break.

Odense, which won 1-0 at Silkeborg on Saturday, has 32 points from 15 games, with Esbjerg on 31.

Third-place FC Copenhagen remained on 28 points after the Danish champion lost 1-0 to Aalborg on Sunday, with American forward Marcus Tracy heading the only goal of the game.

"It's great to be a game winner, and great to beat FC Copenhagen,'' Tracy said.
