Adriano says if he plays, it will be with Flamengo

SAO PAULO (AP) -Striker Adriano says he hasn't decided whether he will play football again, but would like to play for Brazil's Flamengo if he returns.

The Globo Esporte Web site says Adriano has a "desire to play'' for Brazil's most popular club.

Adriano said on Tuesday "if I am to play again, it will be for Flamengo.''

Inter Milan released Adriano last week after he failed to report to the club following a World Cup qualifier with Brazil on April 1.

He later announced he was taking a break from football because he was unhappy in Italy. He was in Rio de Janeiro with his family.

Adriano agent Gilmar Rinaldi had said the striker was likely to play again but needed time to think about his future.
