ZAGREB, Croatia (AP) -Croatia could be without striker Eduardo da Silva for a World Cup qualifier against Ukraine next month.

The Brazilian-born Eduardo recently injured his ankle while playing for Arsenal and was left out of Croatia coach Slaven Bilic's 24-player squad Monday for the June 6 match in Zagreb.

Eduardo has scored 14 goals in 24 matches for Croatia.

Defender Goran Sablic was also left out due to injury but both players could be called up if passed fit.

Croatia is second in Group 6 with 10 points, five behind England but three in front of Ukraine, which has played one game less.

"Our goals haven't changed,'' Bilic said. "We still want a victory.''
