ZAGREB, Croatia (AP) -- Croatian media are reporting that Mario Ancic will miss Wimbledon and the Davis Cup match against the United States because he still hasn't regained fitness after suffering mononucleosis two years ago.

Ancic, world's No. 38 and former Wimbledon semifinalist, had already canceled any French Open appearance at Roland Garros.

He told Vecernji list and Sportske Novosti dailies: "Don't ask me when I'll return, because I don't even know the answer myself."

Ancic says "health is most important. I have to listen to my body."

Ancic withdrew from the U.S. Open in 2007 and 2008. He played for Croatia's Davis Cup team in March, when it beat Chile 5-0 in World Group series and was a finalist at Zagreb Indoors in February. In Kitzbuehel two weeks ago, he was out in the first round.
