There are five teams in pursuit of Kansas City right-hander Zack Greinke: the Rangers, Nationals, Brewers, Dodgers and Blue Jays. The Royals have received some serious offers in discussions with these ballclubs.
The Yankees might consider Greinke if they lose out on Cliff Lee. The Angels might, as well.
Greinke has two years left on his contract at $13.5 million each.
Greinke went 10-14 with a 4.17 ERA last season. He won the American League Cy Young in 2009, posting a 16-8 record with a 2.16 ERA.
