The New York Knicks had been showing some rare signs of life in recent weeks before dropping their last two games. But the franchise can't totally shed its image of being a joke just yet. Especially when their players are afraid of a hotel because they think it's haunted by ghosts. But I shouldn't pick on the Knicks, because this ridiculous story gives me a chance to feature Ghost Whisperer star, Jennifer Love Hewitt.
On The RadioYesterday's P.M. Hot Clicks featured Kevin Harlan's awesome radio call of Ray Rice's 83-yard touchdown to open Sunday's Ravens-Pats game. This prompted several readers to chime in with other wild calls. Keith Moody, of Omaha, Neb., sends in this ridiculously over-the-top call by Georgetown's radio play-by-play guy, Rich Chvotkin, from last Saturday. What the hell would this guy do if the Hoyas won a Final Four game? Tom Horsley recommends this call from the final game of the 2007 season when Greg Camarillo prevented the Dolphins from going 0-16. And Dough, of Arlington, Texas, says, "Jimmy, you have to fast-forward to the 1:10 mark of this clip and check out he sounds the radio guys made when Michael Crabtree scored that crazy touchdown against Texas in 2008."
