Everybody loves the Chicago Bears' "Super Bowl Shuffle." Well, rapper Seanie Mic has reworked the tune to explain what's going on in late-night television. (This afternoon People.com reported that Conan O'Brien's last night as host of the Tonight Show will be Jan. 22.) My description really can't do the video justice, but I suggest you just click on "The Late Night Scuffle" and enjoy.
Player, Blogger, Fan FavoriteIf you're not familiar with Mark Titus, he is the 12th man on the Ohio State baketball team. However, he's known more for having one of the more entertaining athlete blogs on the 'Net. Titus recently celebrated his 2,000,000 hit by posting a very entertaining video in which he hits several acrobatic shots while Warrant's Mr. Rainmaker blares in the background. Titus also has an extremely loyal fan base because the following people e-mailed me the link to Titus' video: Josh Schoenberger, of Columbus, Ohio, Kirk Grave, of Columbus, Ohio (who told me "If you have 10 minutes to get away from Google image searching Derek Jeter, take a look at Titus' amazing work."), Ben, of Denver, Mike Meese, of Charleston, S.C., Ryan Daly, of Nashville, Tenn., Aaron, of Chicago and Colin, of Byfield, Mass.
Big Friday Night Lights NewsThanks to the Jay Leno debacle at 10 p.m., NBC has revamped their prime-time schedule. Friday Night Lights will return Friday, April 30 at 8 p.m. with the premiere episode of Season 4.
Giveaway Of The Day
Peyton Manning :: Courtesy of WheatiesThe folks at Wheaties -- who are launching Wheaties Fuel -- have given me one autographed Peyton Manning jersey (size 50) to giveaway. You can see a picture of it here. I thought about putting the jersey up for auction to generate some money for the relief efforts in Haiti, but since I had announced the giveaway before the tragedy occurred, I'm going to keep my word and do this as a contest. However, it would be nice if the lucky winner can show his or her gratitude by making a donation to the Red Cross. Now onto the contest...
The first person to e-mail me the correct answers to these four questions will get the jersey.
1. Wednesday's PM Hot Clicks mentioned an athlete who turned 50 on Tuesday. Who was the athlete?
2. In an edition of Hot Clicks this week, I mentioned that a certain wide receiver had "whatever is worse than hands of stone." Who was the receiver?
3. Maria Menounos and Stacy Keibler recently talked to Hot Clicks. What move did Menounos say she'd use on Keibler if they wrestled?
4. Extra Mustard landed on Complex.com's list of the top 25 Web sites of 2009. What number did Extra Mustard come in at?
UPDATE, 4:39 p.m.: The contest is over. Ryan Baucom, of Charlotte, N.C,., is the winner, and he's promised to make a donation. Good job!
Sports Video Of The DayWhen someone nails a shot from halfcourt to send a game to overtime, as Corey Brewer did last night, I need a little more excitement from the play-by-play guy.
Christmas Tree Video Of The DayLast Saturday, my buddy Sam posted this on Facebook: "I wanted to leave the Christmas tree up for next year, but Heidi [his wife] said we had to take it down." It's really too bad this video was e-mailed to me after seeing that message, because I would've made Sam do this. (Thanks to Matt Seltzer, of Deming, N.M., for the link.)
Ashley Greene Video Of The DayHere's the video that accompanies the photos linked above.
