Go See This Show
Rock Of Ages
I've mentioned the Broadway show
Rock of Ages here a couple of times, and have talked it about it even more on Twitter. Quite frankly, I've wanted to write about it a lot more, but since it was only based in New York, I knew most of you would be shut out. However, that's about to change because the show is going on a national tour. So, if you like classic '80s music -- Bon Jovi, Poison, Whitesnake, Journey, Pat Benatar, etc. -- you have to go see this show. If you enjoy those bands, you will have a non-stop blast for two-and-a-half hours.
Check to see if the show is coming to your area and get your tickets. I haven't made any deal with the show to promote it and I haven't gotten free tickets or anything like that. I just want to spread the word to my fellow '80s-loving people that this is a guaranteed good time. To find out more about the show and to hear about which athletes have gone to see it, (and for some Yankees talk),
check out this Q&A I did with the Tony-nominated star of the show,
Constantine Maroulis, who some of you may remember from
American Idol fame.
