10:57 a.m. -- Big day for Cal

Stud safety Keenan Allen was originally committed to Alabama, but he ended up signing with Cal on Wednesday.

From Rivals.com analyst Mike Farrell: "OK, hearing that Keenan Allen, Chris McCain and Zach Maynard all announced for Cal a few minutes ago. Gabe King was delayed in D.C. on a plane, so he will announce when he arrives, also to Cal."

10:34 a.m. -- Another McKnight to Pac-10

Jeff Curtis, the coach at John Curtis High in Louisiana, just told Rivals.com that his three-star athlete Jonathan McKnight will sign a national letter of intent with Arizona this morning.

McKnight is the younger brother of Joe McKnight, who will enter the NFL Draft after playing three seasons at USC.

10:25 a.m. -- Five-star Jones picks Florida State

Florida State linebacker Christian Jones will sign with Florida State. The five-star from Winter Park, Fla., also considered Florida, USC, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Michigan.

He is the second-ranked player in the state and No. 20 in the country.

10:12 a.m. -- Nebraska picks up Cooper

Maywood (Ill.) Proviso East four-star safety Corey Cooper has signed with Nebraska. He chose the Cornhuskers over Illinois, Arizona and Notre Dame.

10:08 a.m. -- Update on Allen announcement

Keenan Allen's announcement has been delayed. They are waiting for Gabe King, who is stuck in Washington, D.C., because of a flight delay due to weather.

10:06 a.m. -- West Virginia gets four-star receiver

Four-star wide receiver Ivan McCartney will sign with West Virginia. In McCartney, the Mountaineers landed the No. 5 prospect from Florida.

10:02 a.m. -- Tennessee lands Georgia's best

Tennessee landed the top prospect in Georgia by receiving a commitment from five-star wide receiver Da'Rick Rogers. Rogers had been committed to Georgia but switched on Signing Day.

9:56 a.m. -- Five-star OT picks Auburn

Auburn continued its impressive Signing Day haul with an announcement from five-star offensive tackle Shon Coleman.

Coleman, the third-ranked tackle in the country, remained with the Tigers despite late pushes from Alabama, Ole Miss and Miami.

9:31 a.m. -- Mississippi State adds two linemen

Mississippi State boosted its offensive line class with two surprising Signing Day defections. Three-star Eric Lawson was committed to Texas Tech before making the switch. Two-star Dillon Day switched from Louisiana Tech to the Bulldogs.

9:27 a.m. -- Nebraska lands four-star quarterback

Bradenton (Fla.) Manatee four-star quarterback Brion Carnes has signed with Nebraska.

9:22 a.m. -- USC's Kiffin plucks juco LB from Tennessee

First-year USC coach Lane Kiffin plucked junior college linebacker Glen Stanley from Tennessee on Signing Day when the four-star linebacker switched to the Trojans.

9:09 a.m. -- Copeland makes Signing Day switch to LSU

Four-star DE and longtime Tennessee commitment J.C. Copeland signed with LSU. He will join LaGrange (Ga.) Troup teammate Brandon Worle in Baton Rouge.

9:02 a.m. -- Kentucky lands three-star RB

Three-star running back Miles Simpson will sign with Kentucky, he announced Wednesday.

Simpson, from Independence (Ky.) Simon Kenton, also considered Illinois and Indiana.

8:55 a.m. -- Three-star OT switches from Illinois to FSU

Paramus (N.J.) Paramus Catholic three-star offensive tackle Dan Foose signed with Florida State this morning. Foose had been committed to Illinois.

8:33 a.m. -- Ambles to USC

Five-star wide receiver Markeith Ambles announced he would sign with USC on Wednesday.

He also considered Tennessee and North Carolina late in the recruiting process.

8:12 a.m. -- Latwan Anderson won't announce today

Mike Farrell said Latwan Anderson will not announce today and is expected to take an official to USC before deciding among the Trojans, Ohio State and West Virginia.

7:33 a.m. -- Ambles to announce at 8:30 a.m.

Mike Farrell is reporting Markeith Ambles will announce at 8:30 a.m. ET.

7:26 a.m. -- Beginning of the nation's No. 1 class?

The first two LOIs in for Florida this morning are five-star DT Dominique Easley and Rivals100 receiver Chris Dunkley.

7:23 a.m. -- Pullard to sign with Trojans

USCFootball.com reported late last night that Hayes Pullard will sign with USC today.

7:21 a.m. -- Lakota West studs sign

Five-star Jordan Hicks is sending in his LOI to Texas right now. Teammates Kevin Schloemer and Alex Smith are doing the same. Schloemer to Cincinnati and Smith to Kentucky.
