The Astros have traded Hunter Pence to the Phillies in a five-player deal, SI.com has confirmed.

In return for the All-Star outfielder, Houston receives Philadelphia's top pitching prospect Jarred Cosart, along with first baseman Jonathan Singleton and two players to be named later.

Pence, 28, had spent his entire four-year major league career with the Astros, hitting .290 with 103 home runs. He has a .305 average this season along with 11 homers and 62 RBIs.
