Notre Dame F Scott stays in NBA draft
SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) Notre Dame forward Carleton Scott will bypass his final year of eligibility with the Irish and remain in the NBA draft.
The 6-foot-8 Scott averaged 11.2 points and 7.4 rebounds last season when he started 29 times as the Irish went 27-7. They lost their second NCAA tournament game to Florida State.
Scott had career averages of 6.6 points and 4.8 rebounds per game and blocked 97 shots.
