Jeremy Guthrie, who mentioned that he was looking forward to an upcoming Backstreet Boys/News Kids on the Block concert. I couldn't figure out if he was being serious. I mean, everyone secretly liked the Backstreet Boys'
I Want It That Way, but I didn't think a big leaguer would confess such a thing on TV. But it doesn't just stop at the Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block. Guthrie is a huge
Justin Bieber fan. In fact, when he was interviewed this week at the MLB Fan Cave, Guthrie was asked what was worse, his recent bout with pneumonia or sitting through Bieber's movie.
You must hear Guthrie's response. I'm not one get on people for their musical tastes -- people should be allowed to like what they like. But here is where Guthrie crossed the line --
he had the gall to knock Frank Sinatra and
New York, New York. That's something you just don't do.
