With the Spurs facing elimination against the Grizzlies last night, San Antonio guard
Gary Neal saved the season by hitting a three-pointer at the end of regulation to send the game into overtime. The Spurs ultimately pulled away with a 110-103 victory. The game aired nationally on NBA TV, but for some reason the league is too cheap to hire its own announce team for a playoff game, so we were treated to the Memphis broadcast team. Obviously,
their call of Neal's three was a bit uninspired. On the flip side,
the San Antonio announcers went nuts. On a separate note, ESPN jumped the gun and
gave the win to the Grizzlies. (Thanks to
