I was all set to lead this afternoon's Hot Clicks with this cool picture of the scoreboard from Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia because yesterday was the first time in 57 years that all seven American League games included a team that scored exactly five runs. But then I came across this post on Larry Brown Sports with a picture of Jazz forward Andrei Kirilenko's new back tattoo. Clearly, this is one of the worst tattoos in sports history and I wonder how his wife, who understands the NBA lifestyle, will like her husband's new look.
When Monkeys Attack
Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney took his wife and 1-year-old son on a family outing at the Knowsley Safari Park last Thursday. Little did he know that the park's monkeys have expensive taste in cars. The animals jumped all over Rooney's $130,000 Audi RS6 Quattro, ruining the windshield wipers and a rearview mirror. The lesson, as always, is that if you're going to drive through the monkey den of a safari park, don't take the good car.
Time For A Tom Brady Intervention?
As a Bostonian, it's getting tougher and tougher to defend Tom Brady. I've tried to ignore the hair, the Ugg deal and the dancing at Carnival. But then I come across these photos of him at this year's Kentucky Derby and I don't know what to say in his defense. There's only so many times I can look at this video and pretend the other stuff isn't happening.
