In case you missed it last night, the Reds and Phillies played a 19-inning game. Philadelphia pulled off a 5-4 victory, with infielder Wilson Valdez earning the win after playing second base for the previous 18 innings. He retired Joey Votto, Jay Bruce and Carlos Fisher (he also hit Scott Rolen with a pitch). How rare was this feat? Valdez is the first player to start a game in the field and then win the game as a pitcher since Babe Ruth did it in 1921. Pictures and video can be found here.
Real Talk
South Park took on the NCAA and the myth of the student-athlete last night. And by "took on," I mean eviscerated. (If you have a very casual job, you can watch the full episode here.)
Shirt Happens
A Rays fan was recently kicked out of Tropicana Field for wearing a "Yankees Suck" shirt. It wasn't just any fan, however. He's a season ticket holder who spent $20,000 for his seats. If you're the Rays, I think you have to let that fan wear any shirt he wants.

Sabina Gadecki :: Andrew H. Walker/Getty Images
Paul D., of Fargo, N.D., e-mailed to ask if I could feature Sabina Gadecki, "the blonde Miller Lite lifeguard." I can do better than that. I can give you all the women who are in the Miller Lite commercial. (On a side note, Gadecki is engaged to Warriors forward, David Lee.)
Thunder-Mavs Links
Thunder guard Russell Westbrook didn't shake anyone's hand after Dallas closed out Oklahoma City last night. ... A lot of people are happy that Dirk Nowitzki will get another chance to win a title. Kevin Durant (and rightfully so) isn't one of those people. ... ESPN's Doris Burke was abandoned by Nowitzki and the Mavs.
Hot Chick Roundup
If you didn't watch American Idol last night, you missed J-Lo doing this and Beyonce doing this. Also, a reader e-mailed to say, "I know that I am from a demographic that you probably care less about, but, I am curious what the big hub hub is about this trashy looking dumb gal Kim Kardashian? Other than that, I really enjoy Hot Clicks." All I can do is tell you that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and link to this. Lastly, Kate Upton was at a promotional event in Manhattan yesterday and she milked a cow.
The Hot Clicks Podcast
Orioles pitcher Jeremy Guthrie (@JGuthrie on Twitter) has plenty of interests. Two of his biggest are boy bands and sneakers. (He even gives away tickets to Backstreet Boys/New Kids on the Block shows on Twitter, so you closet fans can follow him for a chance to win.) Guthrie talked about these things and much more on the latest edition of The Hot Clicks Podcast which you can listen to below or download right here. Sports Video Of The Day
With the Mavericks in the NBA Finals for the second time in franchise history, this seems like a good time to remember Jason Kidd's 1994 rap smash hit, What the Kidd Did. (Thanks to Azim, of Dallas, for the link.)

Zach Galifianakis Video Of The Day
Latest edition of Between Two Ferns features Will Ferrell. (Warning: Video contains strong language.)
