Rio lab under examination after falsely declaring positive doping test |

MONTREAL (AP) -- The World Anti-Doping Agency will weigh disciplinary action next month against a laboratory in the Olympic city of Rio de Janeiro that mistakenly accused a beach volleyball player of doping.
WADA says in a statement that its Laboratory Expert Group will examine the Rio case at a Nov. 9-10 meeting in Montreal.
The International Volleyball Federation has asked WADA to investigate a "regrettable incident" which falsely put Pedro Solberg under suspicion.
The federation said further tests in Cologne, Germany, cleared Solberg of using testosterone - though WADA says it could still challenge the FIVB's decision at the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
The Rio lab is expected to test samples from the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Rio Olympics.
